I graduated from Leeds University with a degree in Textile Design in 1996. Having completed a PGCE in Design and Technology I went on to teach textiles at Henshaws Arts and Crafts Centre. It was here that I began to explore the craft of felt making. Having given up work to be a stay at home Mum, I was allowed the time to develop my felt making skills and explore new techniques and ways of manipulating the wool.
I am now a member of the International Feltmakers Association and make a variety of felted products such as monster bags, flower brooches and journals. I also teach felt making workshops in North Yorkshire.
